* Downy Mildew (Plasmopara viticola): Infection to the first appearance of symptoms approximately 4 days. Rain is the principal factor promoting epidemics. Temperature plays a less important role by retarding, accelerating the development of the disease. Green parts of vine and leaves are susceptible to infection. Rainfall not required for release of secondary spores. Data as of 8:00 AM on 7/14/08.
